Leadership

Toastmasters is only about speaking, members also get the opportunity to learn leadership skills. Each club has a committee of officers: A meeting allows members to participate in several roles:

Each meeting also has a TME, which members may fill. This allows members to exercise their skills in meeting management and organisation. Smaller roles such as the timer are also confer important organisational skills. Each club is part of an area, division and district, each of which has a governor and governing council. Members are encouraged to participate on this level, and participation is a requirement for the Advanced Leadership Silver award.
