Toastmasters Freiburg

Improve your speaking skills in a pleasant and motivating environment of interesting people from various countries. Toastmasters International is the world's leading non-profit organization devoted to effective communication - with more than 10.500 clubs worldwide. "FRITZ" is the local Freiburg Toastmasters Club, and we are always happy to welcome new guests or members. We meet twice a month. A typical meeting includes impromptu speeches, prepared speeches, feedback, contests, seminars and above all: loads of fun! All our meetings are held in English - a great chance to train your foreign language skills.

Fritz is the toastmasters Club of Freiburg. We have about 20 members from different nationalities and skill levels meeting 2-3 times per month. Members range from 20 to 60 years in age with an average of about 35. All meetings are conducted in English but few of our members are native speakers.

Our next meeting will be on 02 August 2010. We meet on the first and third Mondays from 19:45 - 21:30 in Freiburg. Our meeting place is a room between Velo Cafe and the bike shop in the rotunda in Klarastrasse. It is between the tram bridge and the blue bridge over the main railway station. Guests are always more than welcome to participate. A guest may participate in Table Topics and some minor roles but cannot give speeches until he or she has joined. A guest is also welcome to visit us a couple of times before joining.
